Icky, Yucky, Disgusting Science | Entering Grades 1 – 3
What is causing the rumbling in your stomach? What is that crust around your eyes when you wake up? What is blood comprised of? Does that totally gross you out? Then you belong in an Icky, Yucky, Disgusting Science! This will not be your typical science class!

 

Jump Start | Entering Grade 3
This course is designed for incoming third graders. It will introduce the core concepts that will be introduced in the third grade. Students will cover various subjects such as math, science, reading, language, and problem solving. Students will also be introduced to the NJ ASK 3. (NJ’s state assessment for 3rd grade) Higher order thinking skills will be introduced. There will be some time for fun and games too! Get your child ready for grade 3!

This course is designed for incoming fourth graders. It will introduce the core concepts that will be introduced in the fourth grade. Students will cover various subjects such as math, science, reading, language, and. Students will also be introduced to the NJ ASK 4. There will be some time for fun and games too! Get your child ready for grade 4!

The Writer’s Club | Entering Grades 4 – 5
Where do authors get their ideas? How does a science fiction story differ from historical fiction? What are the elements all stories need? Come have fun and gain writing experience creating new characters and a book of your own. The class will culminate with a reading of original stories at a “Young Authors’ Tea.

 

What’s on your Mind? A Peek into the Study of Psychology | Entering Grades 6 – 8
Have you ever wondered how the mind works? Why do we react to situations in a certain manner? We will explore this and more in this introductory course. This course will introduce campers to the exciting and amazing world of psychology!

 

Junior Chess Masters | Entering Grades 6 – 8
This course is designed for both new and experienced chess players. While working in collaborative groups, students will be introduced to important key chess concepts. Students will discover the love of the royal game of chess!

Diary of a Musical Theatre Kid | Entering Grades 1 – 8
Campers will be introduced to musical theatre in a fun imaginative manner. Students will have the opportunity to participate in vocal activities and learn basic choreography! Parents will be dazzled by a performance at the end of the program!

Multicultural Art | Entering Grades 1 – 3
Every culture has its own form of expression. You will learn about the history and custom of several different cultures. Create many works of art of which you will be very proud. This course culminates in a magnificent art show that is a celebration of cultural diversity and harmony.

 

LEGO Robotic Adventures | Entering Grades 3 – 7
Students build a variety of fun projects with Lego kits. Students must participate in introductory Lego course first.

 

Young Entrepreneurs | Entering Grades 3 – 7
Kids – Do you want to make some money but feel that you are too young for the job? Come get your own business started. Our Young Entrepreneurs will learn how to develop a business plan, prepare promotional flyers and create business cards!
